去年跌倒首露面 李登輝：唯一支持蔡總統
高齡98歲的前總統李登輝今(19日)表示，民主台灣是我們的驕傲，他懇請唯一支持總統蔡英文成功連任，在第2任期間，邀集朝野對話，啟動憲政改革工程，幫助台灣「脫古改新」，創造華人世界民主政治的新典範。
李登輝晚間出席李登輝基金會2019年募款餐會，他雖坐著輪椅但精神不錯，並逐桌向與會者握手致意，停留約20分鐘後離開，久未露面的李登輝一現身會場，媒體、支持者拿起相機、手機閃光燈閃不停。
李登輝基金會副董事長李安妮代表李登輝以「民主台灣―是我們的驕傲」為題宣讀致詞稿，李登輝表示，去年年底縣市長選舉，因在野黨獲得空前大勝利，促使北京當局作出錯誤判斷，以為台灣民心已經向中共政權傾斜靠攏，所以片面逕自提出「一國兩制台灣方案」，試圖逼政府回應。
李登輝以周遭東亞地區為例表示，這類民粹型的領導人都是為自己派系、家族利益，在國內作政治鬥爭消滅反對者，在國際上更是麻煩製造者，自是引起其他國家的反感與戒心。
他說，中國共產黨現在的政權就是如此；先是推動「一帶一路」，用建設別人國家的港口機場、高速公路、高速鐵路為掩護，來消化中國自己生產過多的東西，這些基礎建設會伴隨著用長期貸款、賄賂，干涉他國內政的非法負面效果，現在已經引起東南亞、中亞、南亞地區國家一般人民的反彈。
李登輝說，國力崛起的中國共產黨當然更不會放過台灣；他們用錢來斬斷、封殺中華民國外交，孤立台灣對外的關係，禁止世界各國直接跟台灣有互動交往等的情形亦趨明顯。
李登輝表示，面對這現況，理應大家要團結一致對外。但一些政黨人士竟然常常幫對岸北京講話，並教訓自己的民主政府，天天在電視上稱讚共產威權，將台灣政府批評的一無是處。
李登輝說，「這就是我們台灣迫切的危機；不只不團結，更有人看不起自己的民主制度」，不禁使人開始擔心，在2020年會不會像2008年般，台灣被中國法統再度復辟。
他表示，民主選舉的制度，目的是要讓台灣老百姓來做自己的主人，決定未來，對民主「應該是期待不是期限！」利用民主自由法治觀念來推翻民主，是絕對不能允許的事情。若是台灣任何領導人、政府，放任統獨對立，也是不負責任的行為，應該被唾棄。
李登輝說，台灣現在確實處在最黑暗的時機，但也是最光明、最有機會突圍以邁向正常化國家的時代；經過戰後解殖、台海戰爭、威權戒嚴、解嚴、飛彈危機、文攻武嚇、三次政黨輪替的歷史淬鍊，我們可以輕易地區分識別、認同，所謂的「新時代台灣人」定義，就優惠網站是愛台灣這塊土地、以台灣為介紹優先、認同民主台灣價值的人，不管先來後到，才是真正的「新時代台灣人」。
李登輝表示，「民主特賣台灣―是我們的驕傲」，他有信心，大家也要有使命感。在國家必須邁向正常化的關鍵時刻，懇請大家唯一支持蔡英文總統，讓蔡總統成功連任，改變現在政治亂象，並勇敢承擔新時代，於第二任期間，邀集朝野對話、凝聚全民共識，啟動憲政改革工程，強化台灣主權獨立的國家地位，以幫助台灣「脫古改新」，創造華人世界民主政治的新典範。（中央社）

到底什麼橋？關渡大橋「缺字」議員爆氣怒批
關渡大橋是橫跨淡水河的橋樑，連結新北市八里區、五股區與淡水區、台北市北投區，身為往夏日活動 返北海岸與市區的重要樞紐，但政府似乎疏於保養視察。近日新北市議員陳偉杰發現，關渡大橋的招牌出現脫落的情況，讓他忍不住在臉書開炮「關渡x橋、關xx橋，這座橋到底是什麼橋？」
陳偉杰昨(10日)在臉書發文開罵，他認為淡水與八里的聯外道路就只有幾條，尤其使用已經36年的關渡大橋更是來往新北台北的重要建設，但陳偉杰卻看到本周優惠八里往淡水方向的「關渡大橋」四個字早已搖搖欲墜，變成「關渡X橋」，淡水往八里另一邊掉更多，變成「關XX橋」！陳偉杰氣得怒嗆「到底是什麼橋？」
陳偉杰表示，今年4月看到公路總局增加預算，讓流標6次的關渡大橋耐震補強工程得以開始，但如果介紹公路總局願意增加預算，就不用等到選舉前有民意代表催促下才著手進行，他說「衷心希望政府單位可以苦民所苦，不是考量要選舉才來加速建設！」
陳偉杰的PO文引起討論，不少民眾看到貼文後，也很驚訝「關渡大橋」四個字已經脫落成這樣，因為平常不會去注意到，還稱讚他相當用心。
